Recipe for an awesome smoothie

So here's my first recipe!

I got a book about smoothies, juices and shakes for my birthday and I really wanted to try it
but haven't had the time to make one yet.
But since I started feeling a little ill this afternoon, I thought it was a great idea to make a smoothie
to give me a little bit of an energy boost!

I was reading through the book and noticed that almost every recipe has at least one ingredient that
I didn't have at home and there was no time left to go to the store so I decided to just
try to make one myself with the fruits I do have. And it turned out to be delicious!


One apple
One banana
Two oranges
A little orange juice
One lemon
Some mint


Press your oranges to juice and pour it in the blender.
Slice your banana in small pieces and drop these in your blender.
Slice your apple into small pieces, peel them and drop these in the blender.
Squeeze the juice out of one lemon and pour on top of the rest.
You can add some orange juice from a bottle if you don't have enough oranges or you like the sweetness to it (like me).
If you like you can add some mint to your juice (I actually forgot this step but I think it would be a great addition to your flavor).

If you like, you can add some blood oranges or grapefruit to it. Any citrus-fruit will do and add to the citrus-y flavor.

And voilĂ  ! A simple yet refreshing juice/smoothie!

what I usually make is:
- strawberry (of other berries)
- 1/2 banana
- some orange juice
- 1 kiwi
- 1/2 green apple
