DIY: Plastic animals on mason jars! Recycling is fun!

What to do with empty jam jars (mason jars) ? Paint the lids and glue a plastic animals on top!

My cousin, Saartje, and I did a crafts-day yesterday and we couldn't decide what we wanted to do because we had so many ideas and so little materials! haha
But what we did have was loads of empty jam jars! And a few plastic dolls/animals about 3-4 centimetres high.

This is probably the easiest way to glam up your mason jars. Just wash them out, spray paint the lids, spray paint the dolls and glue them on. It's as easy as that!

So I repeat:

1. Wash your jars so they're squeaky clean!
2. Screw off the lids and place them on old newspapers or an old table cloth ==> Do this outside
3. Spray paint the lids
4. Spray paint the plastic dolls/animals
5. Wait until they're dry
6. Glue them on the lids
7. DONE!

It's as easy as that!

Just my dog Charlie playing by himself because we were too busy crafting

Bright neon orange (<3) deer - gnome - sealion

One with two smurfs :) :)

Super-easy!

Which one is your favorite ? What animal/doll would you put on your lid ?
